Crossfire works with a range of industry standards and third-party applications. It can quickly be configured to work with any system, either through EDI interfaces or direct connections via system APIs.
APIs are a way to connect to systems with other systems or businesses. Essentially, they allow access with certain restrictions to a business system and information can be pushed and pulled from the system.
APIs allow real-time response and validation of data. The API for each system is different and therefore integration with each system requires development. Crossfire already has a number of built-in integrations with popular systems using their API.
For most businesses, an EDI implementation provides the same business benefit as an API implementation.
